This is the home for Open Social Studies (formerly called Understanding Our World) which is an inquiry-based and
literacy-focused social studies curriculum for Grades K-6 (click on the "For Grades K-6" button below). 

The Open Social Studies team also helped develop, in partnership with Primary Source, a Grades 5-7
 social studies curriculum funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
 (click on the "For Grades 5-7" button below).
